There are so many impacts of grief and they can include:

1) It's exhausting

2) You will be changed as a person in so many ways

3) You will grieve for so many secondary losses too

4) "Grief Brain" lasts for a very long time. Short-term memory loss is so...what was I saying???

5) It really, truly, absolutely and most definitely never goes away

6) It's not like it is in the movies

7) You will learn who really matters, and who absolutely does not

8) You may lose weight, you may put on weight, you might not sleep, you might sleep constantly, you might get ill, you might not.

9) Grief, especially in it's early stages, is SO physical

10) All the paperwork... So. Much. Paperwork. (and it takes a hell of a long time to process too).
